OUR STORY
After more than four decades in the restaurant industry, Randy Resnick and his wife April were fortunate to meet Shane Phillipy, who was then working part-time as a server for events and catering. Impressed by Shane’s unique abilities, they were thrilled when he agreed to become part of their team. Over time, Shane became indispensable to both the restaurants and their personal lives. When Randy and April decided to relocate their restaurant to Matamoras, they honored Shane’s outstanding contributions by naming the new establishment after him and making him a managing partner. That’s how Mr. Shane’s came to be.
Mr. Shane’s serves freshly made American Comfort Food in an inviting atmosphere. Shane, Randy, and Julian (Randy and April’s son) work hard to deliver excellent dining experiences. Running a restaurant demands dedication, long hours, and consistent quality. We focus on sourcing great food with generous portions, training our staff, and turning guests into regulars—striving to exceed expectations daily. We look forward to serving you.
